Meter, Inc.’s Network-as-a-Service for Enterprise Internet Infrastructure
Inside Meter, Inc.’s Approach Towards Business Connectivity
The significance of internet connectivity is immeasurable in this modern era. When most business processes require an online connection, the role and benefits of a speedy, stable, and secure internet expand to a great extent.
While most people think setting up their internet seems simple, the process is far from simple and inexpensive, leaving IT teams to do the heavy lifting. With the internet now essentially working as one of a business's main foundations, accidentally making just a single mistake in the intricate process can cause crisis-level problems.
To ease IT teams' burdens and alleviate businesses' costs and risks, Meter, Inc., a company founded by brothers Anil and Sunil Varanasi, automates the entire process of searching and deploying internet infrastructure for businesses with its Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) product.
Internet Connectivity
Founded in 2015, the Varanasi brothers saw how inefficient the entire process of enterprise-grade network procurement still is despite internet connectivity’s major role in everyday corporate processes. The duo deems finding and running a stable, reliable, and secure network infrastructure far too costly and time-consuming.
This painful problem prompted the two to build a modern utility in the field to assist businesses. The company’s full-stack approach handles the hardware, software, operations, and deployment of internet infrastructure. Aware of the plethora of things businesses have to take care of outside of procuring stable networks, Meter, Inc. tends to all.
Meter, Inc.’s Network-as-a-Service entails a range of work the company handles, from site surveys and ISP procurement to hardware and software installation as well as the management and maintenance of one’s network.
Handling All
Users can utilize Meter to work with their existing ISP or ask the company to find the best provider to fit their bandwidth needs. Meter, which is ISP agnostic and has the ability to partner with any local ISP in the US, will then have its team negotiate rates and handle ISP customer support until installation.
Having owned and designed its own hardware, Meter ensures that the device firmware and software are secure and speedy, equipped with global scale DNS security. Aware of how fast-moving the business world is, with the need to constantly look for the best services, Meter doesn’t turn a blind eye towards businesses that already own their networking hardware. Instead, Meter will buy their hardware back to ensure no waste.
Mindful of how different every business’ needs and layouts are, Meter’s IT experts can custom-build one’s network to ensure that every inch of one’s space is covered, with the ability to install networks in any commercial space. Once hardware is installed, Meter will handle network validation and configuration. If users require assistance or troubleshooting following installation, Meter provides 24/7 customer support.
With Meter’s centralized platform, users can manage installs, billings, and contract renewals with ease. If one’s business is placed at several locations, users can view every location and more details of their network infrastructure in one dashboard.
